A campaign writes to people for you, step by step, from a LinkedIn account you connect. This page explains how a campaign is laid out and what each status lets you do. Nothing sends until you launch. Campaigns need a plan that includes them, see [Plans](https://docs.b2bsignals.ai/getting-started/plans.md). ## Where to find things **Campaigns** has three tabs at the top: **Campaigns**, **Approvals** and **Templates**. The list can be filtered by **All**, **Running**, **Drafts**, **Paused**, **Finished**, **Needs you** and **Archived**. **Needs you** shows campaigns where a message waits for your OK or a sender needs attention. The list's **People** column counts people, the same way the campaign's **In campaign** does. Someone added to a campaign twice counts once. | You see | What it means | | - | - | | "86 of 240" | 86 of the 240 people in the campaign have been written to or invited | | "12 waiting to start" over "Not launched yet" | A draft with 12 people in it. They start when you launch. | | "Not launched yet" | A draft with nobody in it yet | | "No one yet" | A launched campaign with nobody in it. "Waiting for new people" means it starts people as they join. | | "Everyone reached" | A finished campaign, with how many people it had | Open a campaign and you get four tabs: | Tab | What it's for | | - | - | | **Overview** | On a draft, the three checks before launch. After launch, what needs you and how it's going. | | **People** | Everyone in the campaign and where they are. See [Add people](https://docs.b2bsignals.ai/campaigns/add-people.md). | | **Steps** | What gets sent, in what order, and how long to wait. See [Steps and messages](https://docs.b2bsignals.ai/campaigns/steps-and-messages.md). | | **Settings** | Senders, schedule, approvals, replies, who gets in and writing rules. | ## What each status means | Status | Does it send? | What you can do | | - | - | - | | **Draft** | No. Nothing sends and nobody is written to. | Change anything. **Launch** or **Schedule** it. Delete it. | | **Running** | Yes, inside the schedule and the sender's limits. | **Pause** it. Change settings. Add people. Steps are read only until you pause. | | **Paused** | No. Nothing goes out until you resume. | Edit steps, including on the **Canvas**. Approve messages, which go out after you resume. **Resume** it. | | **Finished** | No. Everyone in it is done and nothing is feeding it new people. | Read the results. Archive it. | | **Archived** | No. Settings are read only and the results are kept. | **Unarchive** it. It takes nobody new. | A running campaign can show one of two extra words next to its status: * **waiting for new people**: nobody is in progress, and the campaign starts people as they join. * **starting**: people are in, and nobody has begun yet. A paused campaign can show why it paused. "Few accepted your invites" means we paused it for you. See [Safety pauses](https://docs.b2bsignals.ai/campaigns/safety-pauses.md). ## What needs you On a launched campaign, **Overview** opens with **Needs you**. Say whether each person accepted so the campaign can go on. | [Did they accept?](https://docs.b2bsignals.ai/campaigns/manual-sends.md#did-they-accept) | | Replies waiting for your answer | Replies you haven't answered yet. These people left the campaign and nothing else goes out to them. | **Open Inbox** | | Messages didn't send | Something stopped these from going out. | **Try again**, or **See them** | When nothing is waiting, the section says so. Below it, **How it's going** shows **In campaign**, **Invited**, **Accepted**, **Replied** and **Meeting**. Rates appear once 50 people have been contacted for a week. Before that the page says it's too early to tell. Under the numbers, one line says what's next: | Line | What it means | | - | - | | "N people are waiting to start. Everyone has started by a day." | The daily limit for new people holds the rest back | | "No one is in this campaign yet. New people join as they are added." | Nobody is in it | | "Everyone has started. New people join as they are added." | Everyone has begun and at least one invite or message went out | | "Nothing has been sent yet. N steps wait for you to do by hand." | People are in, and their steps wait in [Manual sends](https://docs.b2bsignals.ai/campaigns/manual-sends.md) | | "Nothing has been sent yet. N messages wait for your OK." | People are in, and their messages wait in [Approvals](https://docs.b2bsignals.ai/campaigns/approvals.md) | | "Nothing has been sent yet:" and a sender problem | A sender can't send, for example because it's paused | | "Paused. Nothing sends until you resume." | The campaign is paused | ## Change or remove a campaign > [accordion] Pause and resume > > **Pause** stops everything the campaign would send until you resume, and you get an Undo right after. People keep their place. **Resume** sets it running again and runs the same checks as launch. If a sender was removed or a list is gone, the resume is refused and the page says what to fix. > [accordion] Duplicate > > **Duplicate** makes a draft copy. People and senders are not copied, and nothing sends. > [accordion] Save as template > > **Save as template** keeps the steps, approvals and schedule. People and senders are never saved. Your templates are under **Templates**, in **Mine**. > [accordion] Archive and unarchive > > **Archive** keeps the results and stops all sending. **Unarchive** brings it back as paused, so nothing sends until you resume. A campaign that never launched comes back as a draft. If someone in it joined another campaign in the meantime, they are stopped here and the message tells you how many. > [accordion] Delete > > **Delete…** removes the steps and settings for good, after you type the campaign's name. People and their history stay in People. You can't undo it. > > A running campaign has to be paused first. A campaign that already sent messages can't be deleted. Archive it to keep the history.
