HeyReach

Connect HeyReach so people from B2B Signals go into a HeyReach campaign, by source, by campaign or one at a time.

Connect HeyReach when you want HeyReach to do the outreach for people B2B Signals finds. You choose which HeyReach campaign they go to, and HeyReach contacts them from your HeyReach accounts.

Data moves one way: from B2B Signals to HeyReach. Replies stay in HeyReach. To bring a whole HeyReach campaign here instead, see Move from HeyReach.

Before you start

• You are the workspace owner or an admin.
• You have your HeyReach API key. In HeyReach, open Settings, then Integrations, then API.
• HeyReach has at least one campaign that takes new people. If it has none, make or start one there first.
• Your workspace is on a paid plan. Nothing goes to HeyReach while the workspace is on the Free plan.

Connect HeyReach

1. Open HeyReach in Settings

   Open Settings, then Integrations. On the HeyReach row, press Connect.

2. Paste your key

   Paste it into HeyReach API key and press Connect HeyReach. When the key works, you see “HeyReach is connected.”

3. Pick where new people go

   Under Where new people go, pick a HeyReach campaign. This is the workspace default. The list shows only HeyReach campaigns that take new people.

4. Choose which sources send people

   Press Send a source somewhere else and pick a HeyReach campaign for each source you want to send. Pick Don’t send for a source you want to keep here.

Every choice in the drawer saves at once. A short message offers Undo.

If the key doesn’t work, you see “We couldn’t connect HeyReach. Check the key and try again.” Check that you copied the whole key from HeyReach.

Which people go on their own

Send new people on their own is on when you connect. When it is off, nobody goes to HeyReach until you send them.

When you pick a campaign for a source, only people who arrive from then on go. People already there don’t go in one pile. If you turn a source off and on again, the count starts again from that moment.

People from a source go in small batches. We check every 5 minutes and send up to 40 people per workspace each time. The rest wait for the next check.

Who never goes

A person never goes to HeyReach when:

A person goes to the same HeyReach campaign only once. Sending them again does nothing.

What HeyReach receives

What we pass along in the HeyReach drawer says: “The person’s name, company, job title, email when we have it and LinkedIn address. HeyReach does not receive our reason or suggested opener, so write the message there.”

HeyReach writes and sends the messages from its own campaign. There is no Choose fields for HeyReach.

Send people you already have

1. Check first

   In the HeyReach drawer, under People you already have, press Check who would go. The button stays greyed out until you pick a campaign under Where new people go.

2. Pick who to include

   Choose Good fits (7 and up), Strong fits (8 and up), Very strong fits (9 and up) or Everyone, then press Check who would go. Nothing is sent yet.

3. Read the answer

   You see how many people would go, and how many are already in HeyReach and are skipped. See the people shows a few of them.

4. Send

   Press Send N people. Only the owner or an admin can do this. You see “N people on the way to HeyReach.”

A single check covers up to 2,000 people, newest first.

To send one person, open their page, open the menu and choose Send to HeyReach. The dialog says which campaign they go to and why: set on their campaign, set for where they came from, or your workspace default. If the menu item is greyed out, hold the pointer over it to see the reason from the table above.

In a campaign’s People tab, you can also choose Send to HeyReach for one person or for several you select.

A campaign of its own

A campaign here can send its people to its own HeyReach campaign. That setting wins over the workspace default.

1. Open the campaign's settings

   In the campaign, open More settings. Under Send to other tools, press Set for this campaign on the HeyReach row.

2. Pick the HeyReach campaign

   Choose it under HeyReach campaign.

3. Choose who we send

   People who accepted go once they accept the invite. Everyone who joins go as soon as they start in this campaign.

4. Save

   Press Save.

To send people who are already in the campaign, press Check who would go, then Send N now. Up to 500 go at once. Run it again for the rest.

To go back to the workspace setting, press Use the workspace default.

People sent to HeyReach stop in the campaign here, so nobody gets messages from both. They stop only once HeyReach has taken them. Their place in the campaign here doesn’t come back on its own.

When something goes wrong

Not working

If HeyReach keeps refusing people or not answering, its drawer shows Not working. with what happened in the last 30 days:

• “HeyReach turned down N people we tried to send. Its key or the campaign may have changed. Check both in HeyReach, or disconnect and connect it again with a fresh key.”
• “HeyReach didn’t answer after several tries for N people. Check that it is up. New people will be tried again.”

One person going through clears it.

Disconnect HeyReach

1. Open the drawer

   Open Settings, then Integrations, and press Manage on HeyReach.

2. Disconnect

   Press Disconnect…, then confirm.

New people stop going to HeyReach. People already there stay there. Your choices of campaigns are removed. You can connect again any time.
