Move a running HeyReach campaign to B2B Signals, with every person in their place, without anyone getting a message twice.
Use this when you want a campaign that runs in HeyReach to run in B2B Signals instead. People keep their step and their sender. The campaign arrives paused, and you resume it when you’ve checked it.The move is built so the campaign never runs in both places at once. HeyReach is paused only after everyone is safely here, and the campaign here can’t start until HeyReach is paused.
Open Campaigns and press New campaign. At the bottom of the dialog, press Move a running campaign from HeyReach. If HeyReach isn’t connected, you see “HeyReach isn’t connected”. Press Connect HeyReach, connect it, then come back.
2
Pick the campaign
Under Which campaign?, pick it from your HeyReach campaigns. Each shows its status and number of people. Then press Check what would happen. You can pick only a campaign that is Running or Paused, and that hasn’t moved before. To use another HeyReach account, press Switch account.
Step 1 of 2: pick a HeyReach campaign, then press Check what would happen. A campaign that already moved is marked Already moved.
3
Read the trial run
Here’s what would happen is a trial run. Nothing has moved yet, and nothing changes in HeyReach. Read each line, see What the trial run tells you.
4
Match the senders
If you see Who sends from here?, pick the matching account for each HeyReach sender under Choose the same person here. When every sender matched on its own, you see Senders match.
5
Confirm people we can't place
If some people are mid-sequence and we can’t tell their step, tick “They stay in HeyReach. Until you confirm this, we won’t pause the HeyReach campaign.”
6
Move it
Press Move it, paused. When it’s done, you see ““Name” moved”, with how many people kept their place.
7
Check, then resume
Press See steps to check the steps, or Open the campaign. Check the senders and the leave-out rules, then resume the campaign.
Move it, paused stays greyed out when the trial run shows “It can’t move yet.”, when the campaign is already here, or when people we can’t place are not confirmed yet.
N people continue where they are, same step and same sender
They come here and carry on from their current step
N already replied
Their threads come to Inbox. They get nothing more from this campaign
N finished
Kept for your results. They get nothing more
N are on Do not contact
Left out
N have no identifiable person
Left out
N are already in another campaign here
Not added twice
N steps copied as they are
Your wording stays yours. We don’t rewrite it
Steps we can copy are View profile, Like a post, Follow, Invite, Message and InMail. An InMail’s subject line doesn’t come across. These HeyReach steps can’t be copied, and the trial run lists them: email lookup, the open profile check, and sending to Instantly, Smartlead or EmailBison.
The trial run can also list warnings. Read them before you resume:
Leave-out rules aren’t copied. HeyReach rules that skip people in other campaigns, with existing conversations or on blacklists don’t come across. Set the leave-out rules on the new campaign before you resume it.
A sender isn’t connected here right now. People of that sender can’t continue until you reconnect it.
A sender isn’t matched to an account here. That sender is skipped for people who haven’t started yet.
The HeyReach inbox couldn’t be read. People already messaged mid-sequence stay in HeyReach.
A variable has no value for some people. Their message would go out without it. Check the drafts in Approvals.
A step is not moved. The step and the reason are named.
People already in your workspace but not in your People list yet. “They were left out of this move (counted under ‘already in another campaign’) and will not be messaged from here.”
If something goes wrong, you see “The move didn’t finish. Nothing was lost: you can try again.” Press Move it, paused again in the same window. The move carries on where it stopped. Nobody is added twice. If some people couldn’t be saved, HeyReach is left running so nobody is dropped. Run the move again. You can also run it again later, after you closed the window:
1
Open Move from HeyReach
Go to Campaigns, press New campaign and choose Move from HeyReach.
2
Pick the same campaign
It shows ” · Move not finished, move it again” after its name. Pick it and press Check what would happen.
3
Read the banner
You see An earlier move didn’t finish. with “Moving again picks it up where it stopped: nobody is added twice. The campaign here stays paused until HeyReach is paused. HeyReach may have messaged some people since the first try, so check their next step before you resume.”
4
Move it again
Press Move it, paused.
Until the move is done, the campaign here refuses to start. If you try, you see: “This campaign was moved from HeyReach but the move is not finished: HeyReach may still be running or some people are not imported yet. Finish the move first (in New campaign, choose Move from HeyReach, pick the original campaign and move it again), then activate.”If another move of the same campaign is already running, you see “This HeyReach campaign is being moved right now. Wait for it to finish, then check the result.”If HeyReach is busy, wait a minute and try again.
Does the trial run change anything?
No. Check what would happen writes nothing, here or in HeyReach.
Does anything send when the move is done?
No. The campaign arrives paused, and every message waits for your OK in Approvals.
Can I move the same campaign twice?
Not once it’s done. A finished move shows Already moved in the list and can’t be picked again. A move that didn’t finish shows Move not finished, move it again, and you can run it again. See If the move stops part way.
