Set up Radar from your website or a description, why setup can be refused, and when the first search starts.
Use this page to start Radar in a workspace that doesn’t have one, or to find out why you can’t.Setup takes two steps: tell us what you sell, then check the brief we write. Nothing is sent to anyone. There is no preview search: the first real search is your preview.
Owners and admins of a workspace can set up Radar, on any plan. Each workspace has one Radar.Other members see “Only owners and admins can set up Radar. Ask one of them to do it.”
Enter Your website and press Continue. We read the site and suggest who to look for. No website? Press No website? Describe what you sell and write a sentence or two instead.

Check your brief
Under Here’s who we’ll look for, click any underlined part to change it, or tell us what to change in words. Your changes save as you go. You need what you sell, who buys it and where.
Step 2 of 2: the brief, the plan's limits and Start Radar.

Press Start Radar. The screen tells you when the first search starts. Got it closes the message.
If you leave, you can come back: we keep your draft for 30 days.
The What your plan gets card shows your limits before you start. See How many people Radar finds. If your workspace is on an older free plan, a note appears before you start: “Starting Radar moves this workspace to the Free plan, with its Radar limits. On Free, campaigns don’t launch and nothing is pushed to your other tools until you upgrade.”Looking at the setup page doesn’t move your workspace. Only Start Radar does.
The page shows Radar can’t be set up yet and one of these reasons.
Setup refused after a failed payment. Open billing leads to the fix.

There are two reasons. It waits for the right hours. Radar’s status shows Search scheduled, and the page says when it starts. You don’t need to do anything. It waits in line. Only a limited number of new Radars start each day. Past that limit, trial and Free workspaces wait in order and start by themselves. The status shows Waiting to start. The date shown is an estimate.
Paid plans never wait in this line. If you upgrade while waiting, Radar starts without waiting.
There is nothing to resume. If you try, you see “Radar is waiting in line behind other new Radars. It starts by itself, nothing to resume.”
If a payment fails while you wait, Radar tells you to fix it in Billing. It starts by itself at the next daily start after that.
If the plan is canceled while you wait, Radar stops waiting and stays paused.
Check the reason on the Radar page. See What the empty states mean.If Radar couldn’t search LinkedIn, the search says why, and the reason isn’t your brief:
“it searches only during set hours each day and none were open”. Radar retries a first search once, unless your Free week is already full.
“it had reached its daily LinkedIn limits”. The next search runs on its next search day.
