Connect your LinkedIn so campaigns send from your own account and replies land in your Inbox. A connected account is called a sender. Connecting one sends nothing. Senders are part of Software and the trial. On Free you see “Senders are not in your plan”. See Plans.

Connect your account

1

Open Senders

Go to Settings › Senders.
2

Add a sender

Click Add a sender and choose LinkedIn account. To add email instead, choose Email account (Gmail or Outlook).
The Senders page with the Add a sender menu open

Add a sender opens a short menu: a LinkedIn account or an email account.

3

Sign in to LinkedIn

Sign in through the LinkedIn window. We never see or store your password. If your browser blocks the window, sign-in opens in the same tab.
4

Check it's connected

You see “Connected.” and your account appears in the list, warming up.
During sign-up, the Connect LinkedIn button does the same thing. Each teammate connects their own account.
LinkedIn can restrict any account that sends outreach. Limits, working hours and automatic pauses lower the chance, but nothing can rule it out. Stay close to the default pace, especially in the first weeks.

What each status means

To see details, click the sender. The panel shows its status, pace, owner and limits.
The Senders list with an active, a warming up and a needs reconnect sender

One sender active, one warming up, one waiting to reconnect, with the Reconnect banner above the list.

Reconnect

When a sender needs to reconnect, a banner appears on the Senders page and on the Settings page. Click Reconnect and sign in again. Campaigns pick up where they stopped.

Replies stopped showing up

If we’ve heard nothing from a sender for a while, the panel says “No news from this sender”. Click Repair connection, then Repair. This takes a few seconds. Nothing is sent and no campaign stops.

After LinkedIn restricts your account

If LinkedIn restricts the account, or it stays offline too long, sending goes on hold and a banner explains why. Sort out the account on LinkedIn first, then click Resume sending. Invites restart gently: 5 a day for 3 days, then 10, then 15 in week 2, then your normal limits.

Set the pace

Open the sender and pick a Pace. Owners and admins can change any sender. A member can change their own.
The sender panel with Pace, Owner and More options open

A sender's panel: status, the three paces, the owner, and More options with the daily limits.

To set your own numbers, open More options and change Invites a day, Messages a day, InMails a day or Profile views a day. Changing a number switches the pace to Custom. Above 40 invites a day we warn you, because LinkedIn restricts accounts much more often at that level. To go back, click Go back to Safe pace. Sending hours and team-wide limits are under Settings › Safety. See Senders and limits.

Other sender settings

If the same LinkedIn is connected in another workspace, its daily limits are shared between them. The panel tells you when that’s the case.

Pause or disconnect

  • Pause sender stops it sending until you click Resume sender. Nothing is lost.
  • Disconnect… removes its sign-in. Type the name to confirm. It leaves its campaigns, and its live runs wait instead of sending from another sender. People and history stay. You can connect it again later.

Send without connecting

On a plan that includes sending, you can run campaigns without a connected LinkedIn. Messages wait in Manual sends. You copy each one, send it on LinkedIn, then mark it as sent. If you connect later, new messages go through your account. Messages already waiting in Manual sends stay there.
